Congratulations. We did this same thing about two years ago. What a big step. Change is very hard on some people. When we started this project someone mentioned how it will take us longer than we thought. I thought to my self no way. You know. Step 1, 2 3 and in the building LOL boy have we had our eyes open.

Keep us posted. Do you guys already have land to relocate or not.
If so how about sharing areial photos of the land etc. Mapquest or Google Earth are great for this type of thing.

family life center is about complete. we have about 4 weeks to go. as of now we will be meeting in a privatly owned community center that we can us for free untill our building is complete. we will be having services in the family life center for awhile before we build the main building. the flc is almost double in size to the building we have been in for years. and i am not tech knowledgeable enough to get a picture on here but the land is a perfect rectangle and is five acres in the fastest growing area in town.

We have been in our new building in Greer, South Carolina for 4 years this coming Sunday. The former location housed the local church for approx. 50 years. We sold the old building and about 1 year ago, it was sold again and torn down. Our people have enjoyed the new facility and God has blessed the local church. We have invested close to 1.5 million in this first phase (including land cost). We currently owe $600,000.00. Anyone want to make a contribution to help finish paying it off? I said all this to let you know that as soon as you move into the new facility, you will be amazed as to how quick you will not miss the old. Most of the Greer Congregation had never attended church at a different location. You cannot imagine how great a blessing the new church has been to the congregation and to the community as well.

God bless you as your local church moves forward for Christ.
