US Open

Postby Paully_44 » June 16th, 2008, 10:23 am

Tiger comes off of surgery and ties up the event on the final hole on Sunday. What was probably one of the more exciting rounds was followed up by what??? a wait another day playoff round. For me, that means it is played on Monday which is a work day. I'll get to keep up as much as I can while at work. Oh wait, Tiger did it again and birdied the 18th to force a sudden death and win it on the first hole.

Is the US Open the only major to have playoff rounds? I'd rather see sudden death holes immediately following the final hole of the final round if there is a tie.

Tiger is beatable. I finally beat him the other day on Woods07 for the xbox.

I think the PGA Championship has a playoff, but it follows immediately after tournament if there is a tie. I love sudden death rounds in golf.

When I was watching the US Open, I thought it would be a sudden death round following the tournament. A bit disappointed it was was played on Monday.

Tiger's out for the year. bummer. hope the ACL surgery doesnt impact his performance when he eventually recovers.

that makes his performance at the US Open all the more impressive.
