Let's pick for this Saturday

Postby dolfan » October 6th, 2008, 12:02 pm

Very dark horse pick: Arkansas to beat Auburn.

I really like: Texas to beat Oklahoma

Won't win, but will cover: UT covers 13 point spread against UGA

Wins, by more than the spread: Penn State wins by more than 4 over Wisconsin

Where did they come up with that?: No spread on Vandy v. Miss. State. Pick 'em.

Squeaker of the Week: Michigan State over NW (spread is -3 for State; I think that's probably a good prediction).

Y'all state yours, make up your own categories or use these!

I can relax this week. Bama's got a bye.

I pretty much disagree with most of your list:

AU is going to thrash Petrino.

Okie over Tx...no doubt.

Ugag covers easily over Phat Phil.

Wins, by more than the spread: Penn State wins by more than 4 over Wisconsin...agreed.

Vandy will handle Miss State...MSU has no offense (GT, AU, LaTech).

Auburn hasn't thrashed anyone all year. They fired their OC Wednesday. Their defense will win it for them, but I'm just throwing caution to the wind and picking Arkansas to win. It's a nonsense pick, no rhyme or reason other than just because. BUT, with this week's developments in Auburn, it would be less of a surprise than it would've been if they'd played, say, last week.
