Ole Miss Thoughts

Postby pastorables » November 28th, 2008, 9:23 pm

At the first of the season, my prediction was that Ole Miss would possibly go 7 - 5 with a mediocre bowl bid. Of course, my seven wins would have been different than the actual outcome.

Now, we arrive to the end of the season with the Rebels sitting at 8 - 4 with a nice bowl offer upcoming. Not to mention, convincing wins over Florida and LSU, playing #1 Alabama within four points on their home turf, and completely destroying arch rival MSU. I never would have dreamed it, but I'm pleased with the outcome. :)

If the Rebels can keep their coach, have a strong recruiting year along side their returning starters, and stay healthy they should be a formidable opponent in seasons to come.

I think you can count on it, personally.
