Interesting Samuel Adams Quote

[MacUser]

"No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffused and virtue is preserved. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauched in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign invaders." - Samuel Adams

Great quote and he makes great beer also

You don't hear much about Samuel Adams in the history books really. Majority of thick US History books in schools and colleges never even mention him.

I majored in history and even took a US Revolution class, but don't remember even a mention of Samuel Adams in any of my classes.
