Gov't files suit to throw out AZ immigration law

The lawsuit also says that the Arizona measure will impose a huge burden on U.S. agencies in charge of enforcing immigration laws, "diverting resources and attention from the dangerous aliens who the federal government targets as its top enforcement priority."

Well there are already 5 suits against AZ filed by private parties so the govt. really has no business doing this.

IMO, if there's gonna be a lawsuit, the Federal government is the only entity who should do it. Of course, I think they should lose that fight. The illegals should have no standing to seek redress, but if that were ever decided it would mean the courts view them in much the way that those who support the immigration bill passed by the AZ legislature views them. We do wish that was so. :roll:
