We have a daugther who is a cheerful early riser. The rest of the family is like me and takes about 3 hours to wake up. We just want to strangle her sometimes....

Morning or evening person

Postby Dr. Ron » August 3rd, 2006, 6:55 pm

I have always been a night owl having been in the music industry and then an evangelist. I have always seen myself as a 2nd shift guy.

However, now I have had to retrain myself. I have to be at the gym every morning by 6:30 for my work outs............six days a week. I still don't go to bed until 11:00. But I am adjusting more now.

The dr. made me become a morning person for my health..........otherwise I am still snoozing at 7:00. My poor wife has to be up by 4:30 so she is asleep by about 9:30 ............and she is a night owl. but we do what we have to do.

Got to go to bed now........I have to do lower body tomorrow.

Guess I just got carried away....otherwise, I would have commented on that, too. :P :P

Oh well, the night owl still applies. 8)

I am up early most days, but I am NEVER perky. I used t be, but I joined Perker's Anonymous, and now I only perk if I have a relapse.
Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

I WANT to go to bed earlier.. and get a fresh morning start.. but I'm a bona-fide night person.. and I just can't even force myself to go to sleep lately.

Last night I was in the bed at 10:30 with my eyes closed.. and still awake with my eyes closed at 12:30!!! *sigh*

I sometimes get this brief tired yawn around 10:30/11:00 ish and if I don't take advantage of it.. I'm wide awake till I force myself to slow down and be still.

I've been up 2- 1/2 days straight working on deadlines before.

if I am not at work and going by 5-5:30, I feel like I have wasted my day.

Exactly how I feel at 5am!! woohoo we are more alike than you think!

it's getting kinda late, see ya all in the morning!

It's the time zone, 5 AM for you probably is 2 AM for PG!

I am very much a morning person, 1 AM, 2 AM, that's the best time of day, but those of you that sleep through the best, and are perky when you wake up, that's just wrong!
