Heroes!

Postby Sherry » September 26th, 2006, 8:05 am

So who else watched it? Did you like it? I loved it!!!!! :D =D>

Loved the array of character's. My favorite so far, Hiro!! \:D/

Did you recognize the son of Niki, the mom who owed the mob? He is Noah Gray-Cabey a trained classical pianist who played Franklin on My Wife and Kids! I love that kid!

The cheerleader kinda grossed me out, pushing her ribs back in....ugh!

And Issac, the artist he'll be interesting, won't he?

If you missed it or want to see it again, they are showing it again tonight at 8:00est on NBC!!

I caught the rerun last night. Liked Hiro, the Japanese guy who can teleport (What are you, Super Hiro?). Couldn't quite figure out what the stripper's power was, other than to violently slay assailants, obviously. The little Wolverine-ette cheerleader was pretty cool.

Liked it overall.

I liked it. I think it could develop in to quite a good show.

I liked the cheerleader and the twist with her father.

The teleporter is funny.

The artist is pretty cool

I am not sure what the deal is with the stripper, but it will be interesting to see her character develop and why she is a single mom with bi-racial son.

I thought it was good, very promising. Early ratings indicate it was the best debut for a drama in over 5 years, so that's a good sign. It certainly had the buzz going into it.

I love the twists with the cheerleader's dad and the brother flying. Those were really cool. I also wonder if the single mom will be a villain rather than a hero. Maybe she is like Dr. Jekyll/Mrs. Hyde or something.

Interesting thought on the single mom....I wondered about that myself. Her powers seem to be more complicated.

The brother flying, that was a twist! And the cheerleader's dad....now that one really surprised me!

The previews for next week look good! This looks like one show I won't be missing!

I love your avatar Dewayne. I had that same costume about thirty years ago.

Me too. It was my favorite. I actually was Batman year after year after year for a while. My mom bought me the coolest Darth Vader mask when I was about 11 or 12 so that became my recurring costume for a while. But I was all about Batman before that. I can still remember that breathy smell inside the mask and inhaling air through that little hole.

We turned the tv off when the scene with the thong underwear came on. How embarrassing and the kids were in the room. We honestly thought it was borderline pornographic.

I had to keep re-winding and pausing that scene just to be sure my eyes were not playing tricks on me. 8)

Yeah, it was way too much for an 8 oclock show.

I saw a scene where the online porn woman was shown bare-backed in bikini underwear, but I didn't see a thong. :?:

I have seen several things in the 8-9 Family Hour this season that were questionable. I think the networks think people are not paying attention anymore.

This is a bad place to put my 2 cents in.. right below the entry on bare backed/thong stuff.
But I've got to see this show.. heard a lot about it. How many shows have I missed?
