Eventually? This guy's already a villain in my book. Rejecting his brother, cheating on his wife and being a politician.

Actually all of the "heroes" have issues, it seems, especially the one who paints when high on heroin. :-) And from the preview from next week, it does seem the politician is branded a hero, at least in the eyes of the bad guys. Did you see him fly away when they were about to shoot him? That's a cool shot.

That's true Dewayne. Even Wolverette killed that dude last night (although he certainly deserved it, and I don't blame her). And of course the Stripper Hulk has her share of problems too (it was cool how she went off on the dude in the elevator:"If you threaten our child again, I will put my heel through your head, do you understand?")

Hiro is the purest of all, and even he was cheating at poker and roulette last night!!!

Has anyone read the online comics at the NBC Heroes Homepage?

They are pretty cool and fill in the blanks on some events and help give a bit more info about some of the characters. The one about Hiro is pretty cool.

Another internet rumor: the soul of the deceased boyfriend of the Vegas girl is her alter-ego, hence: "if you threaten OUR boy..." and the knowledge of where the body was buried.

Hadnt thought of that.

I did see a commercial that on Sunday night, ABC will be showing the first episodes back-to-back. So if anyone has missed out on this show, it is a great way to play catch up and get hooked.
Let the wild rumpus start!

I love telling people about this show, especially the squeamish. "Well, this girl is on an operating table with her torso split open and she wakes up and pushes it back together and walks off." "Why was she there in the first place?" "Oh, she got impaled on a tree branch." "Sorry for asking."

Did they establish for sure that the boyfriend is dead? I missed that part. It's a cool theory.

I thought he was said to be in prison?

I had almost thought he might be Skylar

Yeah I thought last night's episode was one of, if not the best episode of the season. My favorite moment was when the politician flew away from the bad guys and then broke the sound barrier. That was great!

From the looks of next week's episode, the convict ex-boyfriend has his own powers, too.

I particularly liked that part. It's the first time I ever actually liked the evil dad. I'd have unplugged the little punk's life support. I know the guy confronted rapist boy for reasons of his own agenda (keeping the cheerleader's secret safe so he can somehow exploit it in the future) but that was such a Dad moment. "Well it's your word against her's, and somehow I find her more credible than you".

Also the flying scenes with the congressman were WAY cool.

Yeah, it looked like he could phase through walls like Kitty Pryde. Man can you imagine what kind of powers their kid is going to have, with 2 superpowered parents?
