What was the hoopla over Michigan and appalachian state or am I confused.

Not a sports watcher but did see glimpses of something..

I heard something about this too and wondered about it.
There never was a horse that couldn't be rode and there never was a cowboy that couldn't be throwed.

Shellie you and Billy need to broaden your horizons. Get out of the classroom off the computer and catch a game!. lol

Here it is in a nutshell for you. Never in the history of college football had a 1-AA team (Appy St.) defeat a ranked 1-A team (Michigan) which was not only ranked but ranked #5 in the nation.

That's what makes it a big deal, plus yesterday the Associated Press which ranks the AP Poll decided to allow voters to vote for team who are 1-AA in the 1-A poll. Big deal indeed. And keeps getting bigger.

I do the very best I know how, the very best I can, and I mean to keep doing so until the end. If the end brings me out right, what is said against me won't amount to anything. If the end brings me out wrong, ten angels swearing I was right will make no difference." -Abraham Lincoln
