Last Sunday we had another disappointing experience with our attempt to stream the service live on a webcast. The sound just got messed up from the start, and we had a team of guys swapping cables, making adjustments, and it was... well, it was awful. It was ESPECIALLY awful because we had a special guest worship leader and a baby dedication.
So we cancelled our weekly staff meeting and, instead, gathered a group of really smart techs from the church, and we met Monday at 5, set everything up again, and went live to figure out the problem. I want to thank Billy from NC, Kirk Rising and a couple of others who logged on and provided feedback as we changed settings, moved things around and solved (we think) the main problem.
We will be going live again next Sunday with the adjustments made, and if it all works, I'll report back.
Thanks to those who helped us!
