I will be going to the aquarium next Thursday (Oct 18)... Lexie is begging to go back. She loves to go there and to the Space Museum in Huntsville... But I want to go to this little coffee shop (that makes chocolate also)... This guy took me there one night and I can't for the life of me remember where it was or what the name of it... I just remember it was close to the river and it had a garden that had statues in it...and maybe a restaurant close... I want to go and purchase some of the chocolate (and blow my diet) and let Lexie walk in the garden... Anyone know the name of it or how to get there... I remember it is not to far from the aquarium....

Are you talking about Rembrandt's in the Art District? It's just a few blocks away from the Aquarium and near the walking bridge.

I think I saw that coffee/chocolate shop on Rachael Ray's show when she went to Chattanooga! It looked cute. :)

Dewayne, I am not sure...sounds like that might be right... Is there a museum in that area??? Maybe even across the street from this place... The place I am talking about is very simply decorated but cute... We sat outside and about froze to death (it was in January)....

That;s the one.

It's in the Bluff's Art District up the hill from the aquarium. You can walk it, but it's a hike, even with the new horizontal elevator they put in.

The art museum is awesome and the restaurants are pricey for dinner, but pretty good for lunch.

The aquarium in Chattanooga is GREAT! We went there a few years ago and I was impressed. I've seen my share of aquariums living in Florida and Chattanooga beats them all.

Wow! The aquarium was AWESOME! My son and wife loved it also, and we will definitely try to go again in the future. I saw creations of God that I didn't even know existed. Wow!

The Creative Kids Museum was okay, but we were disappointed that several displays didn't work. They also had one entire floor shut down for repairs but did not share this when we purchased our tickets. :(

We also took my son to FOTW for the first time. He enjoyed climbing ALL the steps, but I will not comment further at this time other than saying "I was very disappointed" in the condition of the park.

On a final note, my son "bungy jumped" for the first time and loved it. All in all it was a great birthday trip for him.
