Toys R Us

Postby pastorables » October 14th, 2007, 5:28 pm

We spent some time this afternoon in Toys R Us looking at new items with our son. I had about as much fun as he did playing with the Eye Clops 200x T.V. screen magnifier. The thing is pricey at over $200, but you can see a flea on a flea with this thing. Looking at salt magnified at 200x is very interesting, but seeing Lincoln in the memorial building on the reverse of a Penny is way cooler.

Cool! The link you posted is for a smaller version? It costs a lot less!

When my oldest was younger, he loved all the scientific toys and we looked at it as being an investment. One thing I do wish we would have purchased is the Lego Mindstorm robotics set which we had considered. I think he would have loved it. Last summer, though, he got to attend a camp at a local robotics company- he liked it so much he may end up working there someday!
..I press on to take hold of that
for which Christ took hold of me.

The way things are going, some of us may need a magnifier like that to read our scripures in the not-to-distant future...
Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

Jennifer, it's the same thing. Wow! It's hard to believe the savings are that much to purchase online.
