We don't have to, that's the beauty part! We can wear them because we want to. Or we can wear sweats, but still somehow end up looking nice!:)

Back in the day when platform shores were "in" for men, I had a pair with 4" heels, and I fell off of them. Really, I sprained my ankle walking through a gravel parking lot on those bad boys, and had to wear a cast for six weeks. High heels are not where it's at...

I was thinking Ace Frehley since Vande plays guitar and now admits to wearing platforms.

My platforms didn't have monsters carved into the toes...

My response is that gender deals with language and not sex (male and female). :lol

The only thing I was a member of back then was the Big Beer Brotherhood, or perhaps the Revolutionary Drug Brothers, or whatever you called the guys who said "man" a lot and shook hands by grabbing the base of each others thumbs while smoking dope and drinking whatever alcoholic beverage might happen to be at hand. Advice among that crowd was limiited to things like "wow, man, don't Bogart that joint."

I got the platforms because they were stylish among the crowd I ran with back then, and I wanted to see what it would be like to be 6' 7". Getting through doorways was a problem sometimes, but you could say I was really looked up to by a lot of folks... :roll:

I got married in a pair of platform shoes that almost rivaled those of my bride, and, UGGHH, for all time, have the wedding pictures to prove it. Plus, they were IRIDESCENT!

AHmmmmmmmmm.... PB, now you WOULD have to go there, wouldn't you? You're actually asking me to drag out my GIANT wedding album, with the GIANT pictures behind GIANT sheets of protective covering, and somehow SCAN a picture that show's my shoes? Well, I THOUGHT so!!! :lol:
