Early adopters?

Postby Pastor Gary » October 25th, 2007, 1:06 am

Any of you Mac users early adopters like me? I will be running LEOPARD Friday when my Family Pack arrives.

I'm not a Mac user, but when it comes to new technology, I prefer to let other adopt early. I let them work the bugs out of the system and pay the premium costs related with new tech. Then, when the price comes down, I buy.

Let me know your honest thoughts about it. I would like to know the benefits for my Mac Book Pro.

I'm not bleeding edge with my home equipment as I share the iMac with the family. If I had a MacBook Pro or similar, I would install it today (Friend of mine got his from Amazon this morning, waiting to hear from him how it goes tonight. Funny thing is he almost called in "Sick" so he could install it)

Yes before I even review it personally myself. I've seen the trusted reviews.

Man, that makes me mad. I almost bought mine on Amazon -- they were offering a discount --- but it did not guarantee delivery on launch day, so I went with the Apple Store, and it's on its way FedEx... and now you tell me Amazon delivered EARLY??? That ain't right. You KNOW that ain't right.

Is there anything better ? Just review that link and drool!

PG, yes I would be upset also. I can sense the sheer panic / urgency in your text as that just isn't right. I'm thinking of visiting an Apple store over the weekend.

Funny thing is he got an email this afternoon telling him it was shipping and to expect it Monday ?!? I told him he must have gotten something else and he sent me a picture on my phone that looke a lot like the ones they've been showing of the retail box with the holograms
