Yes, and frozen, you can "crack them up"! We used to buy those just because they were the biggest candy bar on the shelf!

This is cool, because, I forgot all about circus peanuts!
I loved the sugar daddies and bit 'o honey.

Now, I like the dark chocolate hershey minis or kisses.

I can go you one worse. We had a neighbor who was a dentist. He gave away toothbrushes. I wanted to soap his windows and roll his yard.

Just like "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"- how sad. :(

Tootsie rolls. TW and I were lucky in one way, Mother & Daddy wouldn't let us go trick or treating so they would buy extra candy for us (this was before they made minature candy bars), Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, Snickers, Tootsie Rolls. They would also buy chocolate covered cherries for them but TW & I always found them.

Tootsie roll pops. One year I counted how many licks it took to get to the middle. About 200.

A delicious carmel Sugar Daddy sucker. It was good for at least one hour of tasteful bliss. I haven't seen them lately.

My favorities were:

Candy cigarettes
Bubble gum cigars
Teaberry gum
Tootsie Rolls
Baby Ruth candy bars
Zero candy bars
Any kind of chocolate

I also liked those little waxed coke bottles with the syrup/joice in them.

I would love to go to the little grocery store close to our house and get the "penny" candy. It's amazing what you can get for 5 cents. Especially, when you could get two candies for one cent.

  Cigars, Cigarettes? What's the church coming to?!

Actually, my sister and I thought we looked really cool - and worldy - with those candy cigarettes hanging out of our mouths. Which reminds me of another treat that I loved - those red wax-candy lips. :D
