I also liked those little waxed coke bottles with the syrup/joice in them.

I would love to go to the little grocery store close to our house and get the "penny" candy. It's amazing what you can get for 5 cents. Especially, when you could get two candies for one cent.

  Cigars, Cigarettes? What's the church coming to?!

Actually, my sister and I thought we looked really cool - and worldy - with those candy cigarettes hanging out of our mouths. Which reminds me of another treat that I loved - those red wax-candy lips. :D

A few months back, my husband found some of the candy cigarettes at a little mini mart out in the country and got a couple of packs for our adult daughters. They loved them and recently found some at a local mini mart near our home. Of course, they bought several packs of them!!! Needless to say, they are really having fun with them.

And, yes! I use to "smoke" in front of everyone!!!!

Does anybody else remember Black Jack gum? I found it in a convenience store a couple of years back, and was shocked. I hadn't seen it in (mumbles incoomprehensibly) years! They also had Beamins!
Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

I had some candy yesterday that I've never had before. Swedish Fish. They are gummy and kind of strawberry flavored. Awesome.

I used to love Teaberry chewing gum. As a coincidence my grandparents lived in a town in KY called Teaberry.
To God be the Glory.
