Postby Ilovebigcats » November 12th, 2007, 5:19 pm

I have diagnosed a few family members with this disorder.

MED- Medical Exaggeration Disorder

Causes: Unknown, possible link to hypochondria

Indications: When someone tells you a minor illness or symptom you immediately assume the worst.

Symptoms: Hearing problems. Examples- hearing headache, thinking brain tumor; hearing cramps, thinking ovarian cancer; hearing stomach ache, thinking gall stones; hearing heartburn, thinking heart attack; hearing charlie horse, thinking blood clot; etc...

Remedy- only known remedy is to avoid prayer requests during church

Do you have it? My Momma does.

I know of people who have this when it comes to you talking about what you've been through. "Well, if you think that's bad, listen to what I had......"
"...The life you see me living is not 'mine,' but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I am not going to go back on that."- Galatians 19:20 (The Message)
