Belmont here in Nashville is hosting the second of the three. It was big news here tonight. I wonder what that will do for traffic?

The one in Nashville is supposed to be a town hall style meeting. It will be interesting to see if they try to balance the audience or if they will use the majority conservative christian southern crowd.

Mmmm... Ebay?

Seriously, I hear that besides the liberal media, only 30 to 40 students and 200 Oxford residents will be able to attend.

What you have to remember, is that in Middle TN, there ARE a lot of conservative Christians, but a LOT of them vote democrat. My dad is one. Sad to say, he will vote democrat until he dies!

He got mad a few years back because all his kids vote Republican, but we said, "Dad, you RAISED us to be Republican!"

If you asked him about ANY issue, he would give a Republican answer, but he is of the oldYellow Dog Democrats, and I know a LOT of them in Westmoreland and surrounding counties! You know, "Republicans are for the BIG man, but the Democrats are for the LITTLE man!"
The Bible calls children a blessing and debt a curse, but in our culture we apply for curses and reject blessings.

The prez of Belmont was on the radio talking about this. The debate is invite only and he has no say over that. The presidential debate something or another controls it all. He, his school, just bid to be the location and then Belmont, once chosen, complies with all their demands.
