I saw Rob Bell at the Hard Rock Live in Orlando last night. I was impressed that it was a sold out crowd (mostly 20s to 30s) who were there for a simple (yet thought-provoking) speech/lesson/sermon about the nature of God. He began by talking about the ancient sacrificial practices to gods and followed by contrasting the counter-cultural idea of a supreme God who seeks intimacy with humanity.

I was also very surprised to run into a friend who drove down from Georgia for the event.

Would this be "The gods arent crazy" tour?

He isn't coming to Nashville for this one. I wanted to catch him last time he came through town.

Yes. Actually "The God's Aren't Angry Tour."

Have you ever seen the Hard Rock Live? It's nice but I expected a much bigger venue (you could compare the concert space to Rocketown's). I saw the David Crowder Band last week there and most of the time the main floor is standing room only. Thankfully seats were put down for last night's event.
