I was really hoping Greenbay would win that game!!!

oh well, GB is still a great team because Brett Favre got hurt in the first quarter (i think) and rodgers was playing pretty well for a back up QB

They also had a couple of great starters out on the defense too and I think that is what hurt them the most because it seemed like they had a really hard time keeping dallas from scoring. And, there was one massively horrible call that caused that last touchdown for dallas that sealed the game!!!

anyway, I still love my packers, but not as much as I love my rebels!

I could tell while I was talking to ya. Aren't you glad I told you could watch it on NFL.com. That was a great game and lived up to the hipe. I loved watching it. My blood pressure went up and my heart was racing, but it was great.

I hated it when Brett got hurt, but it seemed to work better. Dallas had a great plan to defend against him and the offense. Dallas had no film on Aaron. Aaron Rodgers did an outstanding job for him. There will not be a QB controversy. Brett is a proven winner and GB can look forward to a great replacement for Brett when he leaves on his own terms. Aaron is learning from one of the best. I hope that we get to meet GB for the NFC game.

Ok, you didn't have to start whining... LOL.. We had Terry Glenn out. Henry couldn't start on every down. TO handed the ball in the end zone to Al Harris that was a sure TD. So here is your cheese, cheesehead. LOL...

About the 2nd PI call which you are complaining about... I looked up the rule for PI in the rule book. It reads as follows

"Actions that do not constitute pass interference include but are not limited to:

(a) Incidental contact by a defender’s hands, arms, or body when both players are competing for the ball, or neither player is looking for the ball. If there is any question whether contact is incidental, the ruling shall be no interference.

(b) Inadvertent tangling of feet when both players are playing the ball or neither player is playing the ball. "

In this case, the receiver was playing the ball and the defender was not. Thus, it does not fall under the exception and constitutes pass intereference.

Anyway, with or without that PI call, there is no doubt in my mind that Dallas would have gone down and scored anyway. :) GB is a great team. This was a great game between two great teams injuries or no injuries...

As far as the Rebels, there's no doubt that you'll have more to cheer about with Nutt at the helm. It's going to be great.

the second thing proves that is should not have been called pass interference because the beginning of all that spiel said it was a reason to NOT be pass interference.

as far as whining is concerned, all I was doing was stating a fact

and by the way dallas in NOT the better team. They have both been outstanding teams this year and I fully believe GB will beat them in the playoffs

Romo overthrowing Whitten twice. TO bumbling the ball in the endzone. The defense stopped playing aggressive when Aaron came in. He proved to be a steady, very good, QB that could make plays. He ran for a couple 1st downs two. Pretty scary.. You would think that the 2nd string was coming in it would be easier. But not with him. He was showing Mike McCarthy that he could be the next QB for GB. He made a strong showing just coming up short.

GB has a great site with forums and everything if you want to check them out. NFL.com and click on the GB symbol at the top.

The ref was looking at the shoving in the back that happened before the feet tangling. That's why he called the PI... I was just messing with ya about the whining and stuff. I was saying that lighthearted just being silly. Sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way. I didn't mean for it to.

he didn't shove him in the back all he did was touch his shoulder and according to the guys talking about the game, that is legal. Now, if they are wrong then I agree with you.

however, the shoulder touch did NOT keep him from catching the ball, the feet tangling is what kept him from catching the ball.

and yes, I am glad you told me I could watch it on the internet.

Did anyone on J2 get to see the game? of all the 100's of channels I get, the NFL Network isnt one of them, so I was left with watching the highlights on ESPN.

Looked like a good game.

I had the NFL Network on DirecTv.

Was it a good game? Oh boy was it a good game. I have never seen a better game than this in the last 4 years Paully. It was awesome. Brett and Romo smiling from ear to ear. The Packers going down the field on the first drive kicking a field goal. Dallas responding by going down and kicking a field goal.

The Dallas D getting in the face of Brett and company. Brett disecting the middle of the field like a pig being exposed by a science teacher in Biology. Brett goes down. That was sad.. Dallas and fans thinking it's really over with because they were ahead 27-10. Aaron Rogers comes in and shows that he wants to be the next QB for the Pack when Brett decides to retire. He makes a comeback. 27-24....

Dallas drives down the field. TO catches a pass in the endzone, Dallas fans are thinking this is the dager they have been waiting for and all of a sudden..... What? TO lets the ball bounce out of his hands and into.. Who? Al Harris... The one who he has been exploiting in the game going for over a hundred yards in the first half. Interception... PACKERS are still alive.... Mouths are left wide open in the stands and homes alike.

The Dallas D holds them back though.. Romo and company is back on the field. They go down and score a TD with a Pass Interference call that to Dallas fans are obvious and Packers think it was a mistake. Questionable? Maybe? Judgement Call...? It was.. 42 yard penalty. Dallas is in the red zone. Packers and Cowboys are playing their hearts out. The fans are exhausted with 7:51 left. What's going to happen?

Dallas scores... 34-24 Packers get the ball back. They go down and kick a field goal on 4th and inches. 34-27.

With 1:03 left Dallas kicks a Field Goal to secure the win. BUT you know know what could happen in a game like this.

Dallas wins.... 11-1.. GREAT GAME.... We are exhausted.... :) I'm thinking about watching it again. I have it on DVR....
