Maybe we could add that to the Mission Encounter... (might just have folks a runnin'...probably lookin' for a way out...but runnin' no doubt)

nobody needs to lose any weight... it seems that anytime anybody loses any I find it :shock:

Now if you want to lose money so I can find it go right ahead, I'll even give you the address to send it to so it's easier to lose

Response: I bet we generate quite the inflow if we had a Fl., Ca., and Hawaii beach mission experience booth! :shock:

True story. Back in the day, when I worked at GHQ, we were in Upper Room one morning and Wade Phillips gave a report after returning as Rep to the Bahamas Convention. In the report he included the number baptised - in the ocean - with a comment that there were "many bikini-clad onlookers" who were ministered to, at which point Bro. M.A. Tomlinson said, "Well, glory." :lol:

unless a miracle happens, it is a financial choice that we made when we decided to go on our Exodus Tour to Egypt, Jordan and Israel (did I mention that I finished my blogging of each day? - http://rambopreacher.blogspot.com/ )

We have finaly gotten to a point that we are as debt free as we can be (house and a car left). We COULD charge it. but that is a sticky wicket that got to a large-house-sized debt that is all but paid off (praise God!!).

It has been a tight last decade or so. In any case, unless God speaks to me (and He has been known to do that) about going, I currently do not have a justification for spending the money that it will require.

There is a bit more involved as yet another year is passing me by, even though I truly believe I am called to be a minister in the COGOP, though apparently they aren't ready for that kind of change. I will be in fasting and prayer the week before the GA, and praying during that time, in fact will still be taking time off work, so I can still be there as virtually as I can. In myself, I have a desire and want to be there.

I am glad for you that you got to go to Egypt and Israel!

Hope it works out somehow to go to the Assembly, if possible!
