If he is the VP.. nobody elects any president based on the Veep.
But Sure.. I'd vote for him on a great ticket.

He's stepping down now BEFORE the lobbying rules change on 1/1/08.

After that, he'll have to wait a WHOLE 2 years before being a lobbyist. There is a waiting period now, but it's NOT 2 years.

So, if he serves out his term, he'll lose several million $$ income.

Smart man.
God Bless You

Not a chance on a VP ticket. He's shooting for the lobbyist position.

I hope he brings all the best industry he can by lobbying for MS, his home state.

These guys don't make a lot of money (on paper) for the high visibility they have... and now I guess he's going to cash in in it.. like Bill Clinton and Mrs Bill Clinton have so well.

Maybe he'll make a better lobbyist for MS than Senator!

Call me cynical and jaded but I think this has something to do with it http://apnews.excite.com/article/20071130/D8T87AEG0.html

No doubt if this BIL of Lott was getting arrested then he(Lott) had a heads up.
