Happy Harvester

Postby pastorables » December 6th, 2007, 7:02 pm

Does anyone remember the Happy Harvester papers. I used to enjoy communicating with Sister Ora Mae Willing. She was a true warrior for the Lord's work.

At any rate, who is involved with this ministry now? Are the papers still being published?

We received Happy Harvesters via our church office until about two years ago.

BTW, Ora Mae Willing's niece attends our church.

Diane Pace has taken over the Happy Harvester and I believe is trying to get it back into circulation. She is the wife of John Pace.

I think I knew that once. Thanks. Brother Pace was my State Overseer a few years back. :D

EagerBeaver, where at in Missouri are you from or live at ? I grew up in St. Louis and attended what was then called the North Side Church. Many old friends are still apart of the cogop there in Missouri and some are still pastoring.
You cannot effectively love and minister to others when you are obsessed with protecting
and preserving yourself.

I live in Republic, just 8 miles SW of Springfield, and attend the local church here, Crimson House Ministries. We're building our website too, www.crimsonhouseministries.org.

Great church full of great people and I've been blessed every time I step into the building.

Amen to that. I enjoyed the few times I was able to preach there or just drop in to visit.

I was originally appointed to the Saint Charles church. While there, we worked with the New Beginnings Family Church to form one entity located in Saint Peters. Jesse Adams is the pastor there.

My late mother had two books published and distributed by the Bethel Book Club in the 1950's. The late Buford Johnson, a close family friend, was her encourager and Editor.

Memories...
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

Going way back... My Mother was a member of the Bethel Book Club.
She loved the Happy Harvester.. in fact she perferred to read it above the W.W.M.
She loved the stories.
