Pork Chop a bad word

So, the PC police have deemed that PorkChop is a racial slur

The Leigh Valley Iron Pigs is a AAA club for the Philidelphia Phillies. They recently held a contest to name their mascot and PorkChop was the winner, but didnt last long.

Apparently, the IronPigs received “several complaints” from local residents that “PorkChop” is a derogatory term used for Puerto Ricans in the area. So the team caved and changed the name.

I wonder if all the restaurants will now be calling their food something else?

when will the ridiculousness ever stop?

I heard this week that Real Estate agents are no longer being allowed to call the main bedroom of a house the "Master" bedroom because it isn't PC. It is supposed to demean the "slaves" of the house.

There was a similar story about Master and Slave computer hardware in the California State government center.

There was a story last week of a kid being suspended from school for saying "brown people."

Here locally, Louisville-The-Lost-San-Francisco, Martin Luther King was quoted in a big diversity celebration and he was CENSORED:

Even Negros can't use the word Negro.

WHOA! We have a guy at work that takes great pride in being called "Pork Chop". He is African American, his family were definitely slaves in South Carolina, and they have had reunions with their master's descendants. That sounds cool to me. Pork Chop is bi however, found out through a 3rd party and it is certainly true though he doesn't know I know, and I love to say things like keep this on the down low or are you straight. I get a kick out of it cause he doesn't know that I know. :lol:

I'm sure I'll be blasted here for it though by someone.

I guess I am not pc.

Personally, I pay no attention to the PC police. I say whatever I want when ever I want. I do give respect when earned. I will use the "n" word when I am in the presence of someone who is black and uses it first....I always have and always will. I DON"T use it any other time....and certainly not to describe a race.

I am sick to death of people being offended, I have been called Hambone all my life. Even Jake Hess used to introduce me as "Hambone" when I was with the Imperials. I have been refered to as "the best part of the hog" you know , bro. chitlins :lol:

I have been called fat boy, stupid, .....you name it.....I was not offended by any of it. I just considered it ignorance on someone's part. understood that sometimes it was used endearingly, and Never worried about it.

I don't care who you are, your "tender feelings" are not my problem.

Considering the number of lives that have been given to guarantee free speech, yeah, I think so. I may not agree with what the liberal baby killers, The WOF money grubbers, and the skin-head extremists have to say, but if they can say it, that means I can too.
