This is awesome that someone would create a Bibical place like this.

Its refreshing to see something like this that proclaims Christ to the world on a mountain side.

I've been to FOTW a couple times. TN & NC area is so beautiful.
What is TCOG FOTW? Is that a new separate place or did the COGOP sell FOTW to TCOG?

Also who owns the house where the first Assembly was held? I have seen historic acts commemorated there even by COG. Does COG own it or does the COGOP?

No COGOP owns Fields of the wood. Also the first assembly house. My post may have been confusing. TCOG had our first service at this assembly at the fields of the wood. COGOP allowed us to use the grounds which was really nice to be there again. In this service I did scripture reading. The fields of the wood church TCOG is down the road from FOW it is a fairly new building very nice. It is the Murphy church but often we still say the FOW church since it is right there. I preached there the day before the assembly started. I hope that helps

TCOG has not and has no intentions of making a new fields of the wood. The heritage of that place is still as dear to us as it ever was. It is where all of our history began.

We were very thankful that we were able to do that. Also thankful that cog allowed us to rent there building for the assembly it was much nicer then being in Chattanooga.

I think that really says something for the COGOP. Even with all that has happened that is a very nice gesture and shows a very good attitude.

I agree!!!! I was impressed also that our overseer asked if we could instead acting like for some reason we are enemies and they would refuse. I think it showed a lot of maturity on both sides. Cog treated us like gold as well when we were there for the assembly. There staff were wonderful, very helpful :D

I sent this link to the video on the FOTW to my neice in law. She sent this back to me.
Could someone give me some info.

Where exactly is Field of the Wood located? He said Murphy, Tennessee, I believe, but I am unsure if that was correct. I'd love to visit it

It's ten miles from Murphy toward Cleveland, Tennessee.
