Paul since you took the time to right a response I will as well. I just typed the longest reply to this and somehow it was deleted. I will try again but I have a migraine so bare with me.

I am not trying to prove any one right or wrong. And I more than understand your position. I simply can not agree with it.

I am not expecting you to agree with it. I am just trying to respond to what is wrote.

I did not change my name. I started an organization completely seperate from any other otganization. I chose a name that I felt reflected what we were about and doing
.

That is good I admire that friend. i respond more about this issue in the next few qoutes.

Attitude) Here you make an assumption which is wrong. You are assuming that because I do not agree with your concept of One Church, One Fold, that my love for the church is somewhat less. I believe that I have a greater understanding and greater love and committment for the Church ( the body of Christ ) now more than I ever had while believing as you do.

Attitude? please show me where I have showed anyone attitude? If did forgive me. I was not implying your love for the church was less just the signifigance of it is different. Meaning your understanding of the church is different then mine not that you love the church less. My theological stance of the church is different then your's. You are assuming what I am saying means one thing because of what you think I believe.

Again this is a very critical area you mention. Implying that Because I chose a name it is somewhat less or not as spiritual as your name because it came by ( your understanding ) from the Holy Ghost. You see, I could follow that same logic and say my friend and I held a solemn gathering in my home and the Holy Ghost spoke and said this is the name of your organization. You see, I do believe the Holy spirit spoke to my heart and spirit and led me to use the name I did.

You assume way to much friend. You said in a nutshell we should have chose a different name, I simply explained how we came to get that name. Not to imply that the holy ghost did not touch your heart for the name of your organization. I was simply explaining why we could not go under a different name. If the holy ghost instructed you to do something I feel you would do just as he said. That is all we did. If you feel that is not true or disagree I respect that. No hard feelings.

this may be hard for some to understand. It is not about mathmatics, it is not about numbers for the sake of numbers
.

I only mentioned how many nations we were in because you implied that we only go after other organizations not winning souls on mission fields. So I mentioned that. Remember we started over practically in homes again in 1993 it has never been about numbers. I pastor a small church. Many feel numbers means God is in it, yet this is a false assumption. Some of the largest christian organizations are decieved more then anyone.

My question to you is simple: Could you see the different denominations and transdenominational and non denominational groups coming together in unity to win the lost for Christ, to impact the world. without them subscribing to your doctrine. Just believing as they do ( understanding that that belief is that Jesus is the only Savior and access to Him and eternal life is through Grace, and repentance ) ?

You say you understand my point then you ask questions like these. I feel christian organizations all over the world are wining the lost everyday. I commend you for the work you are doing and the lost that are being won because of it. Im not as simple minded as some might assume. Yet I do feel we will be in unity before the rapture.
I have no ill will may God bless you Brother Paul. Forgive me for not going in to more detail on this one My head just hurts to bad.

As an outsider, this whole idea of continuing the exclusive church as a SPLIT-OFF makes no sense to me. Isn't this Theocracy idea supposed to be God leading thru unanimity? Or at least a majority? If not, any handful of people can pull out at any time when they disagree with something and say "we are continuing on with the church, it's not a new group". In fact that's just what has happened to the very church that did that in the 90s! Now Nabors pulls his few and says "WE are continuing as the church!!" Whose to say which is right and which is wrong and based on WHAT? IF the EXCLUSIVE church doctrine is true, and its the group founded in 1886 that is the true church or 1907 or whatever, then it will always be THAT group that will continue to be the True Church whatever decision they make or whatever they vote in as a group becuase the gates of hell can not prevail against the church. If it subdivides 2, 3, 4 or 7 times, the little tiny group that leaves the main group that GOD Himself chose CANNOT be that same group! It is not the original group! The splinters are not and cannot be the original group. The COG made changes before there were ever splits and that did not make them no longer the original group. No changes can ever make it NOT be the original group. It still is what it is.

It is the same with the Roman Catholic Church! They believe they are the One True Church established by Jesus. There have been Archbishops like Lefevre that didn't like changes like the mass being no longer in latin. He and a handful of ultra conservative men pulled out and declared that they are now the real Catholic church and the rest is all apostate because it changed. That is just dumb! The original Roman Catholic Church will always be the Roman Catholic Church no matter how many start something new that is conservative like in years past, that still doesn't make them the Roman Catholic Church.

So, if the exclusive church thing were true, and the true group was one called "COG" and rediscovered 100 years ago in the mountains of TN, the real true group would have to be the COG elders because no one leader or group of pastors is the original group just because they say so and pull out. It has to be the whole group that is the real group and not some dissenters from the original church's assembly decisions, nominations, or actions.
