How is this possible??

Postby Pastor Gary » December 14th, 2007, 11:33 pm

According to this article on today's Honolulu Advertiser...

"Georgia, a touchdown favorite, wants to avoid the same fate as the Sooners."

What??? From what I have been told here, Georgia is some unbelievable football machine, from THE exclusive bride of the NCAA commissioner, (oh, wait... wrong thread... anyway...) and Hawaii has no right to even show up in the same stadium as a mighty SEC team. So how come Georgia is only a touchdown favorite???

:shock: :shock: :lol: :lol:
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

I figured they would be pretty evenly matched, but with the game so close to GA they could have the homefield advantage, making them the favorites. But not so. The latest line I saw is Hawaii 8.5 point favorites.

I am staying with my pick.... Hawaii goes undefeated this year.

What I meant, but didnt clearly say was, they GA could have homefield advantage since the game is being played so close to their turf. That is why I was a little suprised to see HI 8.5pt favorites.

If only I say what I was thinking, life would be so much easier sometimes.
