You bet..... We have a grandson who is 15. He has been on two mission trips with me. When he was about 12 his fahter and uncles were talking to me and asking who whould do the miistry when I retired. I kept telling them I had no plans of retiring. They continued to press me and I said, well I'm not sure.

My grandson looked up and said Grandpa...who do you think ? You remember when that prophet man spoke that I would be a preacher man one day. I'll do it you know that !

Of course, I was bursting with pride, joy and all kinds of emothons.

Hijacking this a little but it goes along with what you just told. I am preaching my last sermon where I am currently youth pastoring on Sunday. Part of that sermon will be "who is being raised up behind you to do the work God called you to do?"
