1. They have the scepter, star, and crown arch from the one of the doorways at the old Central avenue Tabernacle. It will erected as marker in front of TCOG's HQ.

2. Seems I recall they have some old temporary markers, before the permanent markers were erected at FOW. They may be members or individuals in TCOG or associated with TCOG -- rather than TCOG itself.

3. A TCOG related family purchased the Tomlinson home and marker on Gautt Street in Cleveland. Thy gave TCOG permission to use the marker.

4. I think I recall TCOG erecting a marker of some kind at the South Cleveland church, were the Solemn Assembly was called for.

Response: They should try to get one at the Waffle House where the planning of the rebellion was hatched in ego stroking, we're right, slanderous sessions. That would be booths #5 and #6.

Or maybe they could gold plate the short bus they trucked in opposition with.

Seriously though I am glad that the unbending religious spirit of those who left, left.

The understanding that you can't have morons at the microphone each Assembly running Church business and progress is the best revelation the Church has had since sliced bread.

I just like to pick at the ridiculum.
What we need here is a good revival! lol

sounds like a bunch of bah - to me. lets quibble over a relic or artifact. this does not even sound like a protestant organization. My faith is in God. not a place, or thing, icon or relic.

As I said I have the minutes and many videos

Please be careful about how you formulate your opinion if you were not there. I truly mean this in the softest tone. Which "minutes" do you have? The actual CoGoP minutes or revisionist minutes made by others?

Secondly, videos are dangerous ground to form an opinion on. They are shot according to the perception of the one holding the camera. Watch 100 videos from the elementary Christmas play and you will be able to know whose parent shot what video by the face that shows up the most.

Which part are you refering to? Assuming by your response you think COGOP did no wrong in all this. I am not so small minded to say hurt was not created and things may not have been handled correctly but hopefully you do know enough about this to say the same.

Absolutely NO WHERE in my post can you possibly read where I said people were not hurt on both sides. But there are two avenues I would like to explore with this last statement of yours.

Assuming by your response you think COGOP did no wrong in all this.

CoGoP is an entity and not a person. It cannot "do wrong". Did members of CoGoP hurt OTHER members of CoGoP before they left and became one of many acronyms? Sure, I'll give you that. Did CoGoP members of the "Concerned" hurt members of CoGoP that chose to stay? Sure, they did.

They were ALL CoGoP at the time. Sure, after the split there was more hurt from both sides, but that wasn't CoGoP doing it, it wasn't The Concerned doing it....it was people.

At the Assembly, there WAS NO wrong doing from the stage. I was there. For each and every gut wrenching, heart twisting, tear pulling moment. I was there. It saddens me that those that weren't are under such delusion of what truly happened.

I am not so small minded to say hurt was not created

Sometimes hurt is not created by the giver but solely in the mind of the receiver.

I agree it was brought up becasue some said there were no marking programs so we were in essence thieves. Full Quiver and poimen were just making a point to respond to that assumption.

I can agree with that shellie. I have the minutes of the COGOP , actually I have minutes so far back it is scary  But I can agree with what you are implying

Im sorry for assuming that falsely, forgive me

same could be said about TCOG. Also remember th same could be said regarding the "cog" I realize there have been attempts to make things good with them and I like that.

Shellie I agree with you one hundred percent I really do . As I have stated it is not good to make opinions of an entire organization based on the character of people. As I also stated it is the same with culture's, the color of our skin, it is people not the entire entity. SO I do agree

I respect your opinion surely I do.

Hurt was created by more then you would ever know. You just told me not to operate on assumptions that i was not there, yet this is doing the same. At this point feel it is either here nor there, we can agree to agree on some and agree to disagree on others :D

WOW ! sounds like the catholics in search of the Holy Grail or some of Apostle Peters Hair to set up in a shrine and be worshipped,

Why not go and set up some real markers, Like in the hearts of men and women around the world. It not hard, just use the Word of God and the precious blood of Jesus as chisels to carve into the the hearts of man the unfathomable riches of Christ.

Gentlemen,

The discussion is not about markers, but what TCOG collects their CPMA money for. Just wanted to clear that up. Back to your regularly scheduled program. :D

understood. and since I have chosen to align myself within the COGOP, I personally find it silly that there is argumentative discussion (debate?) about the TCOG, and vice versa. lots of finger pointing and blaming. the issue is still bah, to me. I say, let "both sides" (all sides, as the case may be), just get over it, and go FORWARD.

When my ex left me, I don't continue arguing over why she took my Pink Floyd T-shirt; or whether she calls it her tshirt, or her blouse. We are now friends and attend the same church. Our kids love it that we can get along and be friendly and choose to find unity instead of fingerpointing and blaming.
