My Wife and Son have been trying to get me to up-date my wardrobe for quite some time.....upon my failure to do so, they did.

Beautiful sweaters, shirts, ties, shoes, An incredible GA suit.(not General Assembly) Electric shaver. And last but not least an extra 10lbs. for all the fudge, cookies, candies and food.

It was a UH football year at my house... I got several (and I mean SEVERAL) UH T-shirts (WAC Champs, Sugar Bowl), Polo shirts, caps, and logo decals... and a new pair of really nice binoculars for next season. I also got the nine books I have to read before I make the Pasadena campus trip in February!

(...and some socks, new underwear, etc.)

A little bit of cash.
An empty apartment.
And a day by myself.

I had a great Christmas. I received a 37 inch lcd tv for my bedroom, a new diamond ring, a spa gift certificate for the year, (my husband thinks of everything), a scarf knitted by my daughter, Brighton jewelry....and most of all my 2 daughters and sons-in-law, grandchildren and my sister were here to celebrate with us. The family being here means a lot. My youngest daughter married a JW and this is the first time they have been here on Christmas Day in about 10 years. God is Great!!

Socks and underwear, which I asked for. Isn't it amazing how your dream gifts change as you age?

I got some otherthings too, very things things, most of them. Unfortunately, one of them wasn't; I got to my home town just as weverybody here was getting over the flu, and I caught it. Been miserable the last two days, hope to feel better tomorrow so I can drive back to KC. Please pray.
Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

A week off of work
A perfect day with my family
A picture of my father-in-law & I playing trumpets a month before he passed away.

Alot of presents and stuff.
Let the wild rumpus start!

It was a gag gift - but my favorite gift this year is the remote controlled "Fart Machine No. 2". (It has a deep bass option and new & improved sounds).

Took it to the office today & we have laughed until we were in tears (multiple times.) Actually early this morning one of the "concerned" (not to be confused with "The Concerned") ladies in our office was passing by my door & stopped to check on me when she saw me wiping tears from my eyes. She thought I was upset (bless her heart). Come to think of it - I probably did look upset - I couldn't talk or breathe! It took me a few seconds to compose myself enough to explain to her what was going on. (Naturally - she didn't find it as amusing as the rest of the folks in the office).

We planted the device in the lobby by our reception desk. I'm not kidding - we've laughed so much today that I think my chest is sore. For those that may find such a device offensive - I apologize - but I'm serious when I say I haven't laughed this much in years!
