Sad news

Postby Brian » December 25th, 2007, 4:07 pm

My mother, Wanda Kay Peery, went to be with the Lord this morning at around 6:30 am. For those who didn't know, she was diagnosed with terminal cancer about 4 months ago. It was quite a shock then and we are still numb from the speed of her decline.

Her funeral is thursday, that is also her 52th birthday.

Please remember our family , my father in particular. These last few weeks have been extremely tough.

Thank you

Praying here also.

Death is hard at any time and worse over the Holidays.
Beem there.
Now, we're going through another loss in our family..my neice's husband. Went to be with the Lord, this past Sunday.

God is our strength in times like this.

Brian, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My mother passed away just before Christmas last year.

you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

I hope she didn't suffer. Please God, minister comfort and healing to this family. In Jesus name, amen.
Why is it that bad decisions seem to make to most interesting testimonies?

Thank you all, and everyone else who is praying for our family. God is an awesome God who has brought a calming peace to this situation.

God knows all the needs in our family, and we are praying for His Hand to guide us through it. My father is a simple man of fews needs and even fewer means. He has worked hard his entire life but hasn't always been the best at planning. He had no insurance on himself or my mother. As you can imaging the funeral cost are more than he can bear. We are all trying to pull together to aid in the best way we can. There are four of us children and are trying to be as much aid to him as we can....sadly the solution seems a little out of reach. So if you could, please pray for God to resolve, or at less lessen the impact of such an exsense on my father. I know that God is able. He has already blessed in so many ways.
I just ask that you please pray for God grace to be sufficent in this time of need.

Again, thank you for your prayers and faithfulness. Even though I haven't posted as regular as I read, you are still a family to me and I love you all very much. May God bless you.

Brian, your story has touched my heart in a deep way and brings me to my knees in behalf of your family. The Prince of Peace is with you, and remember, He is also Counselor, Mighty God, Wonderful, and Everlasting Father. You said your father didn't plan very well, but have no fear... Jesus has a plan for this hour. "He is our peace, who has broken down every wall... cast all your care upon him, for he cares for you."
