Naming a company

Postby Mole_J » December 28th, 2007, 1:07 pm

I was working at a commercial brokerage for about six months. My supervisor left and I left very soon after. Since then I have been in touch with her and we talked about starting our own business brokering commercial loans from home.

We have been thinking of a name for the company, so we can form a LLC. We both like First Capital Access. We played around with other name using combinations of words like Capital Funding Source, Capital Access Group, and First Funding Capital Source. From searching Google some of these were available, some where already taken.

I am looking for suggestions for names and also prayer that the company is successful. Thanks in advance.

Careful searching names

Postby Pastor Gary » December 28th, 2007, 4:56 pm

Careful searching for domain names... typing them into your browser to test them alerts domain-grabbers and you may go back an hour later and find it taken.

Use a real "WHOIS" query.
"God is excited to show you mercy. He rises to give you His compassion." (Isaiah 30:18)

"For surely, O LORD, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

Thanks, I will remember this, when we decide to make a website. :)

Right now, I have just been entering the names into Google to see what comes up.

I would give some suggestions, but I am obligated to refrain as I currently work as an IT manager in a financial institution that would be competitive. It's initials are WF. :)

how about a motto (this is not a name - heheehe) - don't jump on the wagon, or how about the frontier is a very big place, come home to us. :) heheehhee
Thanks, Brent "RamboPreacher" Hoefling

How about a title one of the disciples went by, before being employed by Jesus.

The Money Lenders...or how about Cash Cow...or maybe Capital Ideas

A name I am wanting to use if I ever start up a business will "White Dove Enterprises."
God does not need me...but He wants me.

A spin-off from the "Capitol" angle:

Rotunda Funding :)
