Getting Ready for the Rose Bowl

Postby paul » December 31st, 2007, 12:40 pm

Our two eldest son just left for Pasadena. They will find a nicve spot along colorado blvd. for the Rose Bowl Parade. They will camp out all nite on the side walk. It really enjoyable meeting families that have been coming to the prarde for decades.

My wife and I and the grand children will join then at about 6:00 in the morning. We live about one hour away.

I hope PG when he comes to Fuller might have an opportunity to stop by. I will give him a grand tour of WMOF HQ

When my hubby and I got married (12/23/70), one of our wedding presents was tickets to the Rose Bowl Parade. The tickets were for a special parking space and to set in the stands/bleachers. The parade was amazing and beautiful. That's when all the flowers had to be roses. One of my favorite memories. After the parade, we went to DISNEYLAND. It was my first time there - 01/01/71. :)
