What am I doing wrong ?

I tried to upload some photos of the Rose bowl parade and I keep getting an error. "can't upload your filexxxxxxx. They have been resized to 450X386

I loaded photos many times before and never ran into this.

Sounds like your photos are too big. reduce them 10 or 20% and try again.

I agree with Gerald, photo sizes may be too big.

try to resize to smaller .

I am having trouble uploading photo files also and they are the correct size. I am getting a prompt that says cannot upload photo file.

Make sure that your files are JPEGs.

I am having trouble uploading a new avatar as well as photographs, and, yes, they are JPEG.

I have never had trouble before.

Didnt you just post an updated pic of yourself in Roll Call? The trouble developed since then?

Yep. The trouble has been more recent and after reading Paul's post concerning his own problems with uploading pictures.

I reduced the size by 20% and still no luck. Pixel size 186X96 comprressed to 4.2kb and they are jpeg's

Just go to imageshack.us and run free and post away.
