What Store Would You Live In?

Postby DeWayneTN » January 9th, 2008, 6:28 am

A comedian is living in an IKEA store this week while his apartment is being fumigated. Video is found here:

So what store would you head to if you had to spend a week or a month? My first thought was Borders or Barnes and Noble but then figured I'd be uncomfortable sleeping so maybe it should be Sam's Club.

Hey now, the Bass Pro Shop here in Springfield even has a McDonalds in the top level, so it ensures you will be well fed. That's where I would go. Campbell and Sunshine Streets.

Probably The Great Escape in Nashville. I would have all the comics, cds, books, and movies that I could handle. I am sure there is food around the place because most of the workers look like they have the munchies all the time. :D

Great Escape would be an awesome place! Maybe not so comfortable for sleeping but still there would be plenty to do.

The Apple Store would work.

(Or, if just sleeping there, that store that sells those sleep-number matresses.)

I LOOOOOOOOOVE the Great Escape! I drop by every time I go to Nashville (after I eat at Pancake Pantry, of course).

Bravo.. that sounds like a great store combination.
Apples and Sleep Number Matresses... both cause extreme relaxation when using. hehe

At the very least we would be able to stay connected, eh?

They have a Great Escape here in Louisville as well. (Wasn't it the first one? Dunno) I've been going there since I was a teen. It's in one of those OLD turn of the century type storefront stores where the display windows angle in and create a little entrance alcove. Over the years they've grown into the similar storefronts on both sides of the original.

Too many crazies around the place for my tastes however: Girls who are abit to chummy with each other, managers who lustfully leer at little boys, thirty year old men sporting original Trek uniforms, three inches of butt cleavage and half an acre of red inflammed acne...and worst of all they seem to think the only music ever made was Pink Floyd.

The one in Madison isn't that bad. Just most of them look like a bunch of munchy havin' pot smokers. Some of the guys there are pretty nice and one of the ladies that works there during the week is in a contemporary christian band.
