I am looking forward to this! I wouldn't have if I hadn't of heard his message last time. It isn't my type of "thing" to get into. However, he made it understandable and interesting! I am excited. :)

Has it really been 20 years? I hadn't realized it he had been gone that long. Man time flies. I have plans that weekend, but would love to catch up with him in person and not just by myspace.

Jeff, it would be worth changing your plans for.....I ain't kiddin.

Yep it has been 20 years. Leny was 39 the other day (Jan.4th).

I am not too impressed my many speakers. I can't even hold my own attention.....lol.....but this was awesome to me....and again I don't impress easily. It isn't because I think I am that great or intelligent....but mainly because I don't like listening to people who have only studied something....I like hearing what someone has actually done or is doing.

He is great and it will be enjoyed!!!1

Sounds good. I would like to hear Brian. Wish I was closer.

dolfan,
The seminar will be taped and hopefully, we can get it available to people within a short time span....

We are working on a new process to be able to just record straight to our computer, do the edits, and down load straight to your computer.

We already have the equipement , It is just making sure we have the people in place that soon!

Sounds like a good seminsar...I'm a little older than Brian but I remember when he and Phil Minter came to PA for youth camp "many" years ago when I was still in the state...Here's a bio a found on his minstry we site...Is Brian married or single?

Founders
Brian van Deventer,
General Director

Brian traveled to Greece upon completion of University to serve within the ministry existing at that time, headed by Gail Stathis, along with others. Brian served the ministry in various capacities, and in 1996, helped to co-found this new mission effort, EME Ministries. He now serves as the General Director for the overall ministry of EME, which has its base in Glyfada, Greece (a suburb of Athens).

In the time that Brian has been engaged in the foreign mission field, he has served as a Co-pastor, Senior Pastor, and again as an Associate Pastor in the Glyfada Christian Center, where he still retains that leadership post. His primary responsibilities, however, now include the general oversight of EME Ministries, including project oversight, fundraising and recruiting, personnel management, etc. He continues to travel in ministry throughout the countries of South Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa as a speaker and point person with projects supported by EME Ministries.

Brian also serves as the Mediterranean Zone Leader of Vision International Educational Network, an extension of a California-based University which grants accredited degrees to students throughout a number of nations. With this role, he spends time interacting and assisting other local churches to develop education and training programs of their own.

Very active as a teacher and administrator, Brian has also been working as a consultant for other ministries in the region. He has authored and/or co-authored several books, and written songs.

Education and Professional Credits:
D.Min. Vision International University
MA Management, Imperial University College
BS Biblical Studies, Tomlinson College
Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training,
The English Institute of Australia
