Here is a link to our pastor's "message of the month"
It's a free download.

The challenge came from Gerald. (Good idea man! )
Anyway, I think this message will minister to you - please feel free to offer input after you've heard it.
God Bless.

Thanks Joey. I got my copy and plan to listen to it as soon as I can.

We have a site with ministry messages ( still being constructed) and pictures of our activities. Take a look at citylifeworshipcenter.org.

We record through the church PA and make a cassette at first (most of the members still use cassette so we bought a high speed dubber)
Then, I brought that home, used "Musicmatch" http://www.musicmatch.com/ - download the $19.00 version so you can download through the mic or "line in" function on your computer, and play from cassette to mp3. The software was recommended by techtv. Then, I uploaded that to Frontpage and from there to my server host. The upload through cable took about 20 minutes, but since you probably have your own server - you bypass that I guess.
Is that what you wanted Billy?

I use something called Total Recorder by Higher Criteria.

You can do the line in recording or record from Web Radio/Streaming audio.

I have been tinkering around with SoundForge where I can run a line from the sound board out to my laptop and record live. Only problem I see with this is that the with what I have played with so far, the files will get pretty large.

I only have a 20gb hard drive on my laptop and 13gb of that is filled with music that I play during or after church. Most of the sound tracks I have on my computer also. Makes things clean with the soundtracks as MP3's
Let the wild rumpus start!

We use MiniDV Video recording equipment and then rip the audio track if we want to do MP3s. Usually, though, we convert the file into a RealMedia file and allow streaming or download.

May I ask you guys to pick this thread up, and even repeat some of it over on the CREATIVE MINISTRIES forum?

Wanted to double post for the sake of this strand...
"Our Pastor has delivered yet another truly annointed message that goes against the grain of the WOF movement. It will also minister to those of you who may be going through a particularly hard time right now.
It's a free to download. All I ask is that you sign the guestbook and let us know if this ministry is worthwhile.

God Bless."

Aaron's working on ours, but currently we do not have one. He gets so busy that I've thought about doing the generic thing. I may just build it with the software you gave us, PG.
That's MISTER Hello Kitty to you!!!

:D :D :D
