yes. as i eluded previously, I was in reference to perspective. kinda like that loch ness monster picture that is so famous, but was later discovered to be a close up of something about a foot or two off shore.

OR

maybe it's a mumified humanoid and the reptilian overlords from the Truthism group, put it there to show us that we are not alone and that they really are the progenitors of the homo sapien, sapien race of intelligencia.

OR it's an escapee from the martian pyramid/face and he is praying to it's deity.

it's rocks, dirt and shadows.

it's a dehydrated Ice formation and all it needs to be Ice again is to have some hydrogen dioxide applied.

I wouldn't be to quick to even say it was taken from the rover. The picture that I posted earlier is from the famous Patterson Film, a few frames later in the film produces this image:



Please forgive the poor quality of the picture, the video that I obtained it from had tried to "enhance" the picture and used a lot of artsy strobing zooms. The main thing is that I wanted to get a image that would yield a similar posture so that I could compare anotomical features. The results can be seen here:



To my amazement , I did not have to do much in the way of resizing to get images of the same height, and both pictures were of the same resolution. I compared the distance from the top of the head to the shoulder, the the hip, the length of the upper arm, the lower arm, the thigh, and the thickness of the torso. They match almost perfectly.

If I were to be ask to make a judgment call on this picture, I would have to say that I think somebody has a Photoshop program and too much time on their hands. I think somebody at NASA has gotten a pretty good chuckle out of this.
