Zack Thomas released from the Dolphins....

Here is the story on Espn.

I really like him... It's hard to believe he's 35. I hope everything works out for him. He has more tackles than any linebacker in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

I'm just now able to muster up the strength to comment (sniff). He is my favorite Dolphin. I hope they re-sign him somehow. Otherwise, he winds up playing for the Patriots or Jets, possibly. A fate I cannot tolerate. I have a photograph of him with his arm around my pregnant wife from their scrimmage with the Titans in August of 2003, and his autograph on a Dolphins cap that's never donned a head.

The Patriots offered him a contract...

He is still suppposed to meet with Dallas and some other teams. i sure hope Dallas gets him. He would be a great leader to the so many young guys on that team. :D

I knew the Pats would go after him. Man, I hope he goes to Dallas.

I'd rather he retire than to play for either one of those two teams.
