How bout them #1 ranked VOLS

Man what a game Saturday night between the Vols and Memphis. Even just as a basketball fan, that game was incredible.

It was. What I could watch of it.

I was all about this game. However one of my youth felt they needed counseling at this time. You know it is really one of those moments where you are not spiritual. You are more into the game and you just agree with everything they say and tell them God loves them. All the while thinking I JUST MISSED A DUNK!

Well, that was nice while it lasted.

Let me state first, if you hadn't noticed, Vandy is good this year...again.

But those refs were pretty obnoxious tonight. If either team sneezed they were blowing a whistle on them. The game never seemed to have a real rhythm the second half with all of the "fouls" they were calling. Let 'em play!!!

As a High School Basketball Official, not college, what do you mean by that statement?

Did you see the game?

If you saw the game you would understand. It wasn't an out of control brawl. It was playing basketball. There were two calls in particular of players brushing against players, if even that, and they were calling fouls. Both coaches just kept looking bewildered at the calls.

It won't do any good to explain unless you saw it. Besides, I have several friends who are refs....you zebras stick together. :D

I have to agree. The second half fou calling was horrible.

However I was thankful Vandy pulled it out

I did not watch all of the game, I did watch some of it. So I'm not sure of the calls you are talking about.

Coaches always look bewildered at calls.

Officials never want to determine the game, they want the players to do that.

You call what you see and you learn to let players play through a few things, and call what is an advantage/disadvantage.

And yes, zebra's stick together it's like birds of a feather, we are the only ones on the same team.
