I saw the film last month and I think everyone needs to go out and see it. There's nothing to be afraid of, unlike what some in the press are saying. It doesn't drive creationism down anyone's throat but dares to raise the possibility that evolution doesn't hold all the answers (gasp!!). But it's amazing to me the concentrated attack the movie has come under, not unlike what preceded the Passion of the Christ. I blogged about it and got some responses from strangers (and our friend Pastor Gary, who stood his ground).

The movie opens today for all of you interested in seeing it. I'd say it's worth seeing if only to tick off the people who despise the idea of it so badly.

I would love to see this. I've heard it really shines the light of truth on this.

Saw Movie last night

Postby GAPK » April 19th, 2008, 9:26 am

I went last night to see the movie "expelled". After seeing it I understand why people are so admant about their objections to ID. It is a battle between good and evil. One other note that I picked up was that evolutionists think that I am stupid and Barack Obama thinks I am bitter because that I trust in God and belive His word. But isn't it good to know that someone loved this bitter, stupid old man enough to lay down His life to save me, and no matter what the world thinks of me He calls me His own friend.

My wife and I saw it Friday night. Exceptional :!: I highly recommended it to all of my friends and family - and now to my Jude2 family. Go see it.

I would LOVE to, but right now I am really wrapped up in the Sound of Music that our senior class is putting on. I'm doing all the lighting. My life is on hold until the play is over! :)

Wow, so Barack Obama appeared in the film to ally himself with evolutionists who think you're stupid and to call you bitter 'cuz you believe in God and his word? Hmm, if he's doing ridiculous things like appearing in films to call people stupid then his handlers really need to reign him in.

Barak Obama was not in the film. I think GAPK was referring to a statement Obama made last week regarding fundamentalist christians and small-town gun-toting folk in general.

I figured it was just a political dig, but I just was a little confused about what Obama had to do with any snooty evolutionists featured in the film.

Let us be clear here... we all already know Obama is an extreme leftist elitist if that is what you are getting at? That's not a dig but the truth my fellow brother.

I can't wait to see the film or just buy it for my library.

I simply saw no connection between someone's perception of Obama and this film. If that's how they feel, whatever. No malice intended, just didn't understand what it had to do with anything. And I too am intending to see the film if for no ther reason than I like Ben Stein. 8)

Hope to clear this up

To my dear Brothers and Sisters:

Please except my most humble apology for not making myself more clear in my statement about the film (Expelled).

Barack Obama is not in the film. It just struck me as I was watching the movie that the evolutionist say that I am stupid for being a Christian, and B.O. said in a meeting in SF. CA. that I was bitter and found solace in clinging to my Faith and my Guns.

I pray that this clears up any misunderstanding.
