Just one question. If your 29 steps have not helped you to just get over it, why do you think they will work for anyone else?

I think the guy who wrote this probably got kicked off one too many horses. He thinks it's 1980!!

I have to be very careful how I word this...... we have lurkers waiting to pounce! But I think it depends on where you live as to wether it applies or not. Some areas of the COGOP are more progressive than others. I seen a very modern COGOP and just about 30 minutes down the road...well, you'd think it was 1980 again.

I think Adrian Varlack said it best, " The COGOP is a large ship. And you don't turn large ships on a dime but by the grace of God it will turn".

Response: There is a reason they lurk and don't post. Down deep they're ashamed and it is much easier to sit back a run their mouth about the wickedness of progressives. 8)

That's why it's so valuable when we get a Tcogger to start posting. They expose to the WWW the anatomical flaws of their body.

This is true Stevenson. I attend a pretty forward thinking COGOP, but about 15 minutes away is a congregation that might as well be in 1934 (which is when most of their members joined  ).

But if my church, in backwoods Georgia, can get our act together, I don't know why everyone can't.

We forgot to move

Postby scooter » May 2nd, 2008, 3:42 am

When the Lord got ready we forgot to move. Sing it now.

We forgot to move
We forgot to move
We forgot to move
We forgot to move

When the Lord got ready we forgot to move

They may be right and we may be wrong
They may be right and we may be wrong
But when the Lord got ready we forgot to move.
What we need here is a good revival! lol
