Bad Boys of NASCAR?

I was just reading an article about Morgan Shepherd's racing program in the Nationwide Series. He feels like God has called him to race the car sponsored by his own company that spreads the gospel of Jesus.

What I found interesting is that since he is operating off of such a small budget, he has to rely on the kindness of others.

Those that have helped him the most in the recent past:

Kevin and Delana Harvick - donated a car from their racing program (quite expensive)
Tony Stewart - supplied tires for the race team
The Jarrett family - supplied tires for the race team.

I'm not surprised by the Jarrett family, but was pleasantly surprised by Tony and Kevin. It's great to see these "hot heads" doing something to support this ministry.

Always liked old Morgan Shepherd. One of the good guys for sure.

Are they supporting the ministry or are they supporting the old man? Shepherd's been racing since they were wee little lads.

I've not read the article, but from what Jeff has stated sounds to me like by supporting the race car with a car, tires or whatever they are supporting the ministry.
