One Proud Dad

Postby Rob » July 21st, 2008, 4:48 pm

This past weekend my girls played in two separate softball tourneys. My oldest Taylor played in the U-10 live arm and they won 3rd place and she won one game pitching too.

My youngest Lauren played in the U-8 coaches pitch tourney, with a pitching machine. She batted .975 for the tourney, yes that figure is correct, she made one out in 7 games and fielded 1.000 not making one error and was voted the MVP of the tourney as her team one first place. She plays again this weekend in the State U-8 tourney.

As you can imagine I am one proud dad.

Well since you brought it up Taylor wants to play golf at UK and Lauren wants to play either Basketball or Softball at UL I told her dad would have a hard time wearing a cardinal shirt.
