I was not talking about individual people, I was talking about orginazations and the reason there are so many. You can say that it is doctrinal issues all you want to. You can argue each and every point of doctrine down to the "jot and tittle" all day long. The root of the problem is that we have "lost our first love." Love is the core. The lack of love is the wedge that brings division. We are fighting amoungst ourselves and splintering off into this tribe and that ism when the focus should be on loving God and showing the lost that He loves them and will take them in and give them direction for their lives. When the churches are busy fighting and dividing, how can anyone find direction from them.
Since I've already stuck my foot in it, I may as well swallow the leg too:
If the Holy Ghost is not the author of confusion, then who is the author of this massive confusion? All claim to be Holy Ghost filled and lead organizations. Is the Holy Ghost leading us in this many different directions? I honestly don't know if this problem starts with the leadership, as in James and John fighting over who will sit at Christ's right hand, or if it's a pew problem where people just want to be lead by the "most popular guy" at the moment. But all of this fighting and confusion has done nothing but rip my soul assunder and all the "I love you's" in the world from individuals won't mend it. I have no aught against any individual. There are many that I love dearly in each of these organizations and none of them individually have done me any harm other than continuing to participate in the mayhem. Which may be enough.
I have been away from Jude2 for a long time because I kept getting myself in trouble and the first thing I do the first time I come back is jump right back into trouble. I guess it really is my middle name no matter what my birth certificate says.
