Of course he'll be fine. It's the COGOP that's going to suffer from loosing him, not the other way around.

Also am I understanding correctly that V.O.S. is going to be gone?

VOS is now a ministry of the International Center for Spiritual Renewal...it is still in existance...but is no longer an official ministry of the COGOP. We were still funding it...but this was set to expire at some point and may already have.

VOS is Gone! Try the website if ya don't believe me. It's now World Impact. The COGOP will continue to contribute but it is no longer a sole ministry of the COGOP.

My only question is, didn't we pay for all that equipment?

If you go to the COGOP website and look under ministry departments you will still see voice of salvation. If you click on this link it still says voice of salvation over world impact.

I think we're very foolish to let go of good ministers.
We've done it in the past..and regreted it.

The COG hangs on very tight to Jentezen Franklin and Steve Brock. Altho, JF walked away he is back with the COG I don't think he ever lost his credentials.
Their very proud to have those ministers affliated with their church;
and will tell you in a heart beat!

You know how slow we are to get things done. LOL! I wonder how long they'll leave Palma up as Youth Minister on the website and how long Men's Ministry will be there?

How is Franklin affiliated now with the COG? His church is non-denominational. How is he connected?

He is pastoring at COG out in California.

He preaches Sunday morning in Gainesville and then flies out to California to preach.

JF turned in his credentials several years ago because Free Chapel Gainesville is Congregational Holiness and the COG minutes states something like their ordained ministers can have no allegiance to any church other than the COG (paraphrasing, not sure exactly what it says). He did take over a COG in Orange County California when the pastor of the church retired and asked JF to take it over for him. They asked the COG for his credentials to be reinstated and he was given his Ordained Bishop license back prior to the Assembly. He was voted onto the Council of 18 by the Ordained Bishops of the COG at the Assembly.

By the way, Dr. Ron, do you think COGOP is still suffering because they "lost" you?
