An interesting observation concerning COGOPalicious: everyone has a few memories memories specific to their own timeline. :)

Does anyone remember a M/I in the "New" Tabernacle on Keith Street around 75/76 about commando's or warfare - soldiers and battle or something like that?
I was sitting in front of Brother Johnny Kroon - who is some kind of distant kin to us (don't hold that against me) - and he started that and it was one of the strangest things I had ever heard - VERY SCARY! He was so loud and it was so STRANGE!!!!!

Mission Encounter - always awesome!

The youth marching into the Youth Service on Saturday night of each assembly. We would all line up outside according to our state. We would all be carrying signs and banners! As we marched in they would be counting us to see which state had the most youth. In the round Keith Street building we would come in through several doors and have "reserved" seating! Way kewl!!!!!

Eva Howard preaching on Sunday morning of the assembly and all ladies wearing white dresses/suits.

oh...

Postby Worshipn4ever » September 2nd, 2008, 7:23 pm

if you only knew...the things I think are rather hysterical and things that really hack me off at assemblies...but I might get kicked out of the church if I list them...

then again...I might step on a few toes...

I will say this...you know nothing of assembly until you've worked behind the scenes...I've been around it my whole life...and it gets interesting...
Love: when a small hand grabs your own, looks up at you and says "SAVE ME FROM THE MONSTER!", you pick them up (along with 2 dolls and a small panda) and they lay their head on your shoulder, then say, "I love you". All because you "saved" them.

yea, but this thread isn't about good or bad. it's about COGOP-centric paradigm. a thought process, things, people, events, actions etc.; that are (mostly) central to and focused in COGOP.

Some of these things may be "bad" and some may be "good", depends on point of view and perception. by just listing something as COGOP-alicious has no connotation of disagreement or agreement with it. It merely means that you find it something that only (mostly) the COGOP has, believes, feels, would do, etc.
:)
