NFL Season starts tonight!!

Postby Mole_J » September 4th, 2008, 10:56 am

Surpsrised there is no thread about this yet. First game tonight:

Washington against New York.

I think this maybe a blow out. New York.

I live in the DC area, and from the first few games of preseason, I thought that they may have a decent team this year. The last two preseason games, they were abysmal. Can't see them ending the preseason like this and starting the season hot. They need to win early with a rookie head coach, it will be a long season for the Redskins.

I think New York will win by a lot. McCain does not have to worry his speech and the game tonight. Over by halftime.

I am excited to see what the Seattle Seahawks will do in this final year of the Mike Holmgren era.

Paully, what did you think?

As far as my Cowboys, other than those penalties on defense, I loved it!! I only watched the first half though. By the time I got home from church, the Bolts were playing... I was so glad to see them get beat by Carolina. The Colts lost to the Bears.. I was shocked.. Manning did not look like himself.

I'm so excited about FOOTBALL this fall.... GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it could be a long season if we dont pull our heads out.

  Thanks for the laugh... Yep, it's going to be VERY long if they don't do something. I didn't see the game, but I thought Seattle was heavily favored (it could have been just favored) to win that game. It was surprising...

Manning looked outta his prime or not practiced or something.

The Bears looked great though!

How about those Eagles!!!! I thot they looked like a finely tuned machine and 2 of their starters are out on injuries. The rookie did a great job.
To God be the Glory.

Manning was not himself, but the Bears played great. The defense did great, bringing pressure straight up the middle the entire game. I hope Mike Brown and Urlacher can stay healthy all season.

I was most impressed by Orton and Forte for the Bears. Forte had a great game, I hope we have finally got a good young running back. Also Orton looked much more confident and more like a leader than he did his rookie season when he played a lot of games.

Should be a good game between the Bears and the Panthers.
