A friend and I attended the Vanderbilt Rice game this evening. It started out as a shoot out but Vandy came out of the locker rooms determined to stop Rice. The half time score was 21 all but Vandy put them away 38-21. Vandy is now 3-0.
One thing that bothered me was that the Vandy CBs were playing about 5 yards off the line of scrimmage all night long and just kept getting burnt on both ends of the field. A win is a win though. It's actually the first time I have attended a Vandy game and they won; the curse is broken.
